September 1974 Established Heian Aluminum Manufacturing in Makishima-cho, Uji-shi, Kyoto
April 1979 Moved our office to its current location in Kumiyama-cho, Kuse-gun, Kyoto (approximately 500 square meters in size)
June 1987 Established Heian Manufacturing Inc. in Kumiyama-cho, Kuse-gun, Kyoto
June 1992 Changed our company name to Heian Inc.
September 1992 Expanded the area of our main office (to approximately 4,000 square meters)
October 1998 Established our secondary factory in Kumiyama-cho, Kuse-gun, Kyoto
June 1999 Switched from manually operated reverberatory furnaces to rotary furnaces
December 2000 Increased our rotary furnaces
April 2002 Introduced trommel machines
September 2002 Began acquiring the ISO 14001 certification
April 2003 Introduced analyzers built by the Shimazu Corporation
October 2003 Acquired the ISO 14001 certification
December 2003 Increased our large-type rotary furnaces
May 2006 Established our Kanto factory in Yachiyo-shi, Chiba
March 2013 Purchased the land neighboring our main office (approximately 4,000 square meters), increasing the area of our factory to approximately 8,000 square meters
March 2014 Increased our rotary furnaces at our Kanto factory
August 2014 Introduced press machines to the factory at our main office
May 2015 Plan to establish aluminum raw material wholesale store business
